1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using GearSync ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

GearSync provides tools for cataloguing tools and devices, including private kit and item records, specifications, photographs, receipts, reminders, offline synchronisation, and subscription management.

3. Free and Paid Plans

GearSync may be used free of charge within the limits published on our pricing page. GearSync Pro is NZ$6.99 per month and is billed through the app store that processes your purchase. Features, prices, and billing periods may be updated as the Service changes.

4. User Accounts

You must create an account to access certain features. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including attempting to access it in unauthorised ways, uploading malicious code, or using it for any unlawful purpose.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the Service are the exclusive property of GearSync and its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws.

7. Your content

You retain ownership of the kit, item, photo, and receipt records you store in the Service. You grant us a licence to host and process that content solely to provide the Service.

8. No professional advice

Specifications, warranty dates, and other information in the Service are provided for your records only and are not professional, legal, or safety advice.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, GearSync shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Service.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last Reviewed" date above. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand unless mandatory local law says otherwise.
