Getting started | GearSync

Register from the app or the website with your name and email. Confirm the email if asked, then sign in. GearSync works the same on web, iOS, and Android from one account.

A kit is created for you at sign-up. Onboarding asks what you would like to call it — Workshop, van kit, camera bag — and whether you prefer metric or imperial measurements. Both can be changed later. Kits are unlimited on every plan.

From the workshop dashboard or a kit, add an item with a name, brand, model, and category. Serial numbers, purchase date, and built-in specs can be filled in whenever you have them.

Settings covers your name, units, timezone, password, and optional two-factor authentication. You can export a copy of your data or request account deletion from the same screen.
